Rosemary usually germinates in 2 weeks, but some seeds may need even up to 4 weeks to sprout. Give it some time.
-
Once it grows it is impossible to kill it. We have had pods with rosemary that were 200 days old.
-
This plant loves to be cut/trimmed. Just, keep in mind not to cut it down/back entirely.
-
First harvest (cut off some branches) can be done in about 40 to 50 days after planting, depending on how fast it germinated. Gently trim off the tips of the plant leaving at least four pairs of true leaves to grow. There will be more soon!

Rosemary is a perfect plant for repotting. Once it has used all the nutrients in Click and Grow smart soil (which will happen in about 4 months) you may replant it into a larger pot. Just use a regular garden soil and don’t forget to water and feed it. A guide to transplanting can be found here.
- In the Mediterranean area where Rosemary is found in abundance, it is believed to bring luck to newlyweds.
