- Ornamental Grass is heat-sensitive and best grown at 18 - 22 °C / 64 - 72 °F. If the temperature is higher than 24 °C (75 °F), germination and plant growth may suffer.
- The first sprouts of Ornamental Grass are very thin and might be difficult to detect.
- Some ends of the narrow leaves may start browning in time. It is quite a natural reaction for a sedge clump to happen. If you wish you may comb the clump or simply remove withering leaves by trimming it.
- Although on most occasions, the plant sprouts in 3 weeks, it may sometimes take up to 40 days for the first seedlings to appear. Patience is the key!
- Hairy Sedge is not poisonous for pets, though it is solely ornamental and is not cat grass.
