• Sweet Alyssum is a heat sensitive plant and grows best at 18 - 24 °C / 64 - 75 °F.

• Sweet Alyssum requires very little care, just remove dead flowers and withered leaves.

• Growth may appear to be slow at the beginning but don't worry, this is perfectly normal! It is a dwarf plant and will stay like this until the end. It may be tiny but has a strong, sweet scent. Definitely something to look forward to!

• First flowers of sweet alyssum appear in about 40 days after planting and have a pleasant sweet scent.

• Depending on how you take care of your pods, they may last up to 3 months.

• Sweet Alyssum is widely grown as an ornamental for its fragrant clusters of small white, pink, or purple flowers. The plant remain dwarf through the whole growing cycle- small but powerful.
• The name Alyssum is derived from an ancient Greek term meaning “without madness.” In ancient times, the plant was used to treat the bites of rabid animals.
